Day 01:Hanoi - Lang Son - Cao Bang

This morning, you depart Hanoi for a three-hour drive on National Highway 1A to Lang Son City. When you arrive in this border city, you will go to the local market. The term “responsibility” refers to the act of determining whether or not a person is responsible for his or her own actions. Upon reaching Cao Bang, a small town on the Chinese border, there is time to take a short stroll to see the colorful mountain tribes living in this area.

Day 02:Cao Bang - Ban Gioc Waterfall

Today, drive along the Chinese border to Ban Gioc Waterfall to explore the unspoiled nature that surrounds Cao Bang. Ban Gioc is one of the country’s largest waterfalls, set amid stunning scenery and overlooking the border, and you’ll have time to relax or swim in its emerald waters. Return to Cao Bang in the late afternoon to explore more of this charming town.

Day 03:Cao Bang - Pac Po Cave - Ba Be Lake

Early this morning, depart for a drive north toward the Chinese border to see the historical site of President Ho Chi Minh’s cave, where he lived and worked when he returned to Vietnam in the early 1940s. We stop along the way to visit exotic local markets and mingle with hill tribes as they barter their wares. After lunch, you’ll return to Cao Bang and drive to Ba Be National Park in the afternoon. When you arrive, you will meet and get to know the Tay tribe’s family, and you will spend the night in their traditional Tay village long house.

Day 04:Ba Be Lake - Dau Dang Waterfall

After breakfast, take a 3 boat trip with spectacular view of Ba Be lake and surrounding mountains and. Take a short trek to the Dau Dang Waterfall before visiting some villages of the Tay and Zao minority people, enjoying a picnic lunch along the way.

Have dinner and spend the night in the Tay tribe’s village.

Day 05:Ba Be - Bac Can - Hanoi

Visit Cho Ra market after breakfast. Then return to Hanoi, stopping for sightseeing, photographs, and lunch along the way. Arrive back in Hanoi late in the afternoon.
