Day 01:Hanoi Arrival

Welcome to Hanoi, the thriving colonial capital of Vietnam. At Noi Bai International Airport’s baggage claim, your driver and guide will meet you and drive you to your hotel in the heart of the city. Enjoy an orientation walk in the late afternoon, stopping at some of Hanoi’s top sights like the Opera House, Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake, and Ngoc Son Temple. Enjoy a welcome dinner of traditional Vietnamese cuisine in the evening at one of Hanoi’s best eateries.

Tip: Hoan Kiem Lake (Lake of the Restored Sword), a picturesque lake steeped in Arthurian-style legend, is a good place to take a peaceful stroll in the evening. Weekends see a reduction in traffic as Hoan Kiem Lake is turned into a pedestrian-only zone. However, this pedestrian zone serves as a significant community space in addition to providing a haven from the daily traffic commotion. Families and couples can be seen taking leisurely strolls, musicians playing for large crowds, and kids (and adults) skating or riding hoover boards. It has a great energy to it.
