Mingalabar! Welcome to Myanmar! Upon your arrival at Yangon airport, meet your guide and driver then transfer to your hotel for check-in. Discover the city on your own.

After breakfast we visit Chauk Htut Gyi Pagoda (70 m long reclining Buddha image) followed by Kalaywa Tawya Monastery where over 1200 monks and novices reside. Here we enjoy a great photo shoot of the novices bathing and having their daily meal in the hall.
Then embark on an orientation walk from Sule Pagoda to Chinese Town and Little Indian, covering exotic streets of Yangon downtown and British Colonial building as Emmanuel Church, Inland Water Buildings, and Yangon port.
In the afternoon, board the local ‘circle train’ which runs from Yangon’s main railway station in a circle around various neighborhoods in town and on the outskirts of town. The slowly traveling train gives you unique opportunity to enjoy observing the lively and colorful life of the rural Burmese people.
Disembark after 45 minutes – 1 hour in Insein Township. One of the city’s best fresh markets is here, filled with vendors and piles of colorful items for sale. Spend time walking amid the stalls examining the fruits, produce and meats on sale as well as chatting with the friendly locals.
Afterwards, visit Shwedagon Pagoda – the most prominent monument in Yangon, which dominates the sky with a golden flash, giant spires and holy relics.

Today we have an early morning flight to Bagan, the archaeological wonderland of over 3,000 ancient temples. Now we explore the beautiful Shwezigon Pagoda with the interesting knowledge of Burmese Buddhism. Follow up is a visit to Ananda Temple (one of the finest, largest and best preserved in Old Bagan). Along the way we stop by some surrounding temples. The last stop for this sightseeing day is a local lacquer ware workshop and learn how this traditional piece of art is made. We’ll end our day by enjoying a beautiful sunset cruise on Ayeyarwaddy River.

After breakfast, we start the day at Nyaung U Market where you have great chance to meet and talk with the friendly locals. Then we visit Nan Paya Pagoda, one of the biggest temple of Bagan. On this day, we enjoy the unique experience of a horst cart ride, head to Minkaba Gubyaukyi Temple, and continue your day to Manuha Temple.
Another highlight of today is the panoramic sunset view from one of the highest pagoda of Bagan.

Having great experience, seeing Bagan waking up in the morning: many temples in the distance and get a spectacular aerial view of Bagan. Sometimes you may fly over villages and see people on their early morning rounds, feeding their animals; or going to market.

Leave Bagan for your morning flight to Heho. Inle Lake, the second largest lake in Myanmar, located 900m above sea level and is home to unique one leg rower Intha people. Upon arrival, we take the boat trip at Phaungdawoo Pagoda, which is believed as the holiest pagoda of Inle Lake. Now we go to Ngaphechaung monastery – an impressive wooden monastery over the lake. The monastery is also called “jumping cat pagoda” as in the past, the cats were trained to jump through the hoops. The next stop is Nam Pan village where we visit the cotton and lotus weaving factory, cigar making houses…; the sites will provide you with the interesting time interacting with the Intha people.

Have breakfast at hotel, then continue the trip to 5-day market. On each day, the market is held in one of 5 different places around the lake. Now we see the local people sells and buy things, it is also the great chance to meet the tribes with their colorful clothing. Relax with the boat ride to beautiful temple of Indein on the western side of the Inle Lake. Enjoy your relaxing walk among the hundreds of ruined pagodas in many shapes and sizes.

Have breakfast at hotel, then we leave by boat to the northern bank of the lake where the car and driver will take you to Pindaya. Along the way we enjoy the picturesque countryside of Shan State. This mountainous area is famous for its cave which is full of more than 8,000 Buddha images. Along the way, we visit the local handicraft workshops producing Shan mulberry paper and traditional umbrellas. Then transfer to Heho airport for your flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, our guide and driver will take you to your hotel in the city center. Rest of the day is at your leisure.

After breakfast, you are on your own for shopping or sightseeing until departure time. Our driver will transfer you to Yangon International airport for the flight home.
