Day 01:Mandalay Arrival

Welcome to Myanmar, the country just opened itself to the world and now waiting people to discover its unique Buddhist culture and heritage.

Upon you arrive in Mandalay, you local guide will meet you in the airport and escort you to hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure to recover from jetlag.

Day 02:Mandalay – Mingun – City Tour

After breakfast, drive to the jetty from where you will enjoy a nice boat trip to Mingun. In Mingun, you visit first to The Bell which is third largest in the world. It is made of bronze. It is also claimed that Buddhist devotees inserted gold and, silver ornaments into the bronze. We continue the visit to Mingun Pagoda and Mya Theindan Pagoda.

Return to the city, you will visit a gold paper factory to see how people make the gold leaf. Visit the Shwenandaw Monastery which means ‘Golden Palace Monastery” and was built in 19th century and well known for its teak carving of Buddhist myths. Continue to the Kuthodaw Pagoda which is a Buddhist stupa that contains the world’s largest book of Buddhism. Finish your day at the top of Mandalay Hill – 230 meters in elevation, the natural landmark of Mandalay, a vantage-point for a full panoramic sunset view of the city.

Day 03:Ubein Bridge – Amarapura – Fly to Bagan – Sunset Boat Trip

In the morning, drive out of Mandalay towards Ubein Bridge. This bridge is 1.2 kilometers long and the longest teakwood bridge in the world. Then, continue to Amarapura – 20 km to the southwest of Mandalay on the opposite bank of the river. Here, you will visit the Maha Ganayon Kyaung Monastery to see hundreds of monks line up for daily meals at 10:15 AM.

In the afternoon, transfer to Mandalay airport for your flight to Bagan. Upon arrival in Bagan, you will be welcomed by your local guide at the airport then transfer you to your hotel in the old city. Conclude your day with a relaxing sunset boat trip on Irrawaddy River.

Day 04:Bagan – Full Day Temples Exploration

Wake up in the early morning and take the horse cart ride on the dirt trails through the pagodas towards Shwesandaw Pagoda while it’s quiet in dusk. From the top of the pagoda, you will admire one of the most amazing sunrise in the world with hot air balloons in the air.

Then return to your hotel for breakfast and start your trip with a visit to Nyang U Market which is a typical market which remained in Myanmar for centuries. Next, head to Shwezigon pagoda, which is one of the most significant religious buildings in Myanmar.

Next up is Ananda Temple. A masterpiece in the incorporation of Myanmar and India architectural styles, the temple houses four standing Buddhas, each facing a distinct direction. After lunch in a local restaurant, visit a local lacquerware workshop. Here, you will have chance to learn more about traditional techniques of craftsmen and admire unique and beautiful products. In the afternoon, visit other famous temples in Bagan and the famous Tharabar Gate before returning to your hotel for resting.

Day 05:Bagan – Fly to Heho – Inle Lake

Take a morning flight to Heho. On arrival drive to Nyaung Shwe, a town at the north of Inle Lake. From there take a motorized longtail boat on Inle Lake (25 km) famous for its unique one-leg rowers, typical floating gardens, local methods of fishing and village life and the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda housing five sacred and almost shapeless Buddha images, contorted because of the quantity of applied gold leaf, gifts from the believers. The Buddha images are reported to have come here in the 12th Century. In the afternoon, proceed to the silk weaving village of In Phaw Khon and visit Nga Phe Chaung (the biggest and oldest monastery around Inle Lake). Overnight at a resort on the lake.

Day 06:Inle Lake – Indein – Heho – Fly to Yangon

In the morning, visit one of the colorful markets in Inle Lake Area. Here in Inle Lake, the markets are not every day. They are rotating on 5 days basics. Proceed by boat to Indein to see the ancient Bagan + Shan style pagodas, built during the Bagan Period, passing the beautiful scenery with tall grasses and little water steps. The ruin pagodas, hidden in the bushes will give you an impression that you were back to the 12th century… Then take a flight to Yangon.

Upon your arrival in Yangon, the former capital of Myanmar but nowadays one of the most developed city in Myanmar, your local guide will welcome you at the airport then escort you to hotel. Stop en route at Karaweik Hall a Royal floating barge on the Royal Lake for a photo shot.

Day 07:Yangon City tour – Fly to Hanoi

After breakfast, start with a visit to Sule Pagoda – located in the heart of Yangon. Then take a walk through the British colonial streets of Yangon and explore Emmanuel Church, High Court, and Bogyoke Aung San Market.

In the afternoon, experience the life as a local by spending some time at a local tea house. Then continue to visit the Shwedagon Paya. This massive bell-shaped pagoda rises nearly 100 meters above its hill-top surroundings. Wander through this magnificent structure and its courtyards, stupas, bells, Temples, and Buddha images, and see religious and secular visitors from all parts of the globe. Shwedagon has become the symbol of Myanmar. Afterwards, transfer to Yangon airport for your flight to Hanoi.

Welcome to Hanoi – the charming colonial capital of Vietnam. Upon your arrival, our guide and driver will pick you up and take you to your hotel in the city center.

Day 08:Full Day Discovery Hanoi Capital

After breakfast, embark on a full day city tour to explore Vietnam ‘s artistic and intellectual capital: Hanoi. Hanoi is a unique Asian city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and oriental pagodas and temples. It doesn’t matter who you are, there’s always something interesting on offer and wow their visitors.

The city tour will take you to Hanoi’s landmarks, including the Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the nearby One Pillar Pagoda; the Presidential Palace; the Temple of Literature; and an option of either the History Museum or the Ethnology Museum to your liking. Take a short walking tour around the fascinating Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake with hundreds of specialty shops selling silk clothing, lacquer-ware, embroidered linens, furniture, bamboo, cooking utensils, ceremonial objects and more. In the evening, you will be invited to a traditional water puppet show.

Day 09:Hanoi – Halong Bay – Overnight on cruise.

Have breakfast at hotel before a 2.5-hour drive to Halong Bay – the UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the next 24 hours, enjoy your time on a traditional junk cruise in Halong Bay – a natural wonderland abounds in jutting limestone islands and turquoise waters that sparkle in daylight.

You will also pay a visit to one of the 3 largest caves in Halong, including Thien Cung, Sung Sot and Dau Go, en route the cruise around Dinh Huong island and Ga Choi island. After that, relish yourself with the beauty of an island cove and a sheltered white sanded beach. If the weather is permitted, you can take a dip in the warm waters of the Gulf of Tokin. Pass the night on your junk and let the gentle rocking of calm waters lull you to sleep.

Day 10:Halong Bay – Hanoi – Fly to Danang – Hoian

Why not rise up a little earlier and join in Tai Chi session on the top deck or simply embrace the brilliant sunrise scene? A cup of morning coffee or tea will give you more energy to continue setting out and exploring the nearby islands by bamboo boat. Return to the cruise and enjoy some times at the sundeck to take in your very own eyes the irresistible charm of Bai Tu Long Bay. Have brunch onboard the boat before returning to Halong pier. Your driver will meet you at the dock and take you to Noi Bai Airport of Hanoi for your in-country flight to Danang. Upon arrival, your guide and driver will meet you and take you to your hotel in Hoian ancient town. Check-in and explore the town on your own.

Day 11:Hoian – Farming & Fishing tour

Picking you up at your hotel by mini- van, we will bring you over the countryside where bike are available to ride (If you don’t know how to ride bicycles, please use our scooter “XE OM” services and you pay the extra 140,000 VND). You start the day by cycling to the local farmer in Cam Thanh Ecological village. Here you are greeted by a local host and then you join with them how to grow wet rice with their family. Starting farming work like plough and raking with buffalo, riding water buffalo, learning how to transplant rice, flooding farm, grinding rice, pounding rice.

After then, guide and van will bring you down to a local fishing village. You will be boarded on boat. Joining to go fishing with local fishermen at Phuoc Hai local fishing boat to experience local cast net CHAI. Continue to visit water coconut palm jungle, enjoying the basket boat and visiting the water coconut palm forest. Learn how to learn origami such as grasshoppers, flowers, rings, caps, bracelets toys made from water coconut leaves…, Jungle walk and join for a mock battle with mud attack for fun. and after then boarding back boat, Captain Cook will cook for your lunch/dinner (morning time you will get lunch and afternoon time you will get dinner on boat) and cold beer or soft drink we will bring you back to your hotel.

Day 12:Hoian – Danang – Fly to Saigon – City Tour

Have breakfast at the hotel then drive to the airport to catch your flight to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) – Vietnam’s biggest commercial center. Upon arrival, set out on a guided city tour to visit famous landmarks of the city. Start at the Reunification palace, which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until the end of the war in April 1975, then continue to the Notre Dame cathedral, the General Post Office, the War Remnant Museum and Ben Thanh market (if time permits). Afterwards, check-in at your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 13:Saigon – Mekong Delta (My Tho & Ben Tre) – Saigon

Have breakfast at hotel then enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields. On arrival in My Tho, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, passing by the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Your lunch will be served in an orchard garden.

In the afternoon, continue your boat ride to a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre. Here you will enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then try some seasonal fruits & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by locals.

Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village. Return to Saigon afterwards and discover the city on your own.

Day 14:Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels – Fly to Siem Reap

After breakfast at hotel, we depart from Saigon to Cu Chi Tunnels. This is the legendary 220km underground tunnel system dug by Viet Cong soldiers throughout the war. Here you will learn about the tunnels, and have the opportunity to crawl inside. Transfer to Saigon airport afterwards for your flight to Siem Reap.

Welcome to Siem Reap, the gateway to the ancient temples of Angkor! Siem Reap is Cambodia’s spiritual home, a charming riverside town, and the world’s most significant site of Khmer architecture. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by our local guide who will escort you to your hotel for check-in. Rest of the day is free at your leisure.

Day 15:Siem Reap – Sunrise at Angkor Wat - Angkor Thom

Wake up early in the morning and travel to the Angkor Archaeological Park by tuk tuk. Start this unforgettable adventure by climbing the main entrance of the Angkor Wat and admiring the stunning sunrise over Angkor Wat and all surrounding temples.

We will continue our tour and arrive at the South Gate of Angkor Thom. Step back in time to the grandeur of the prosperous Khmer kingdoms of yore. Angkor Thom comprises of renowned Bayon and Baphoun temples originally made up of 54 towers and 216 faces of Buddhisatva Avalokesvara. During the visit, our tour guide will explain the historical facts of the Angkor Temples and the Khmer empire and highlight all main Angkor architectural elements.

In the afternoon, you will pass by both the Terrace of Elephant and the Terrace of Leper King known as the royal viewing platform and the stage of the king’s great audience hall.

Next, a visit to Ta Prohm Temple known as the “jungle temple” or “tree temple” referring to the lush trees surrounding the temple’s stones. The gigantic roots of the trees embracing the ruins have made it one the Angkor’s most popular temples.

Day 16:Siem Reap - Tonle Sap Lake – Departure.

Leaving Siem Reap we travel through the countryside to Tonle Sap Lake. The Tonle Sap one of the world’s most productive bodies of fresh water. Take a boat trip around the lake to see floating villages and get a taste for life ruled by monsoonal rains and water-based agriculture. Afterwards, take the back roads back to Siem Reap and witness seasonal agricultural activities like cricket catching, rice planting and harvesting, smoking fish, fish paste (prohoc making), and duck farming. Upon arrival, set out on a guided city tour to visit famous landmarks of the city. Start at the Reunification palace, which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until the end of the war in April 1975, then continue to the Notre Dame cathedral, the General Post Office, the War Remnant Museum and Ben Thanh market (if time permits). Afterwards, check-in at your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 13:Saigon – Mekong Delta (My Tho & Ben Tre) – Saigon

Have breakfast at hotel then enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields. On arrival in My Tho, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, passing by the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Your lunch will be served in an orchard garden.

In the afternoon, continue your boat ride to a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre. Here you will enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then try some seasonal fruits & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by locals.

Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village. Return to Saigon afterwards and discover the city on your own.

Day 14:Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels – Fly to Siem Reap

After breakfast at hotel, we depart from Saigon to Cu Chi Tunnels. This is the legendary 220km underground tunnel system dug by Viet Cong soldiers throughout the war. Here you will learn about the tunnels, and have the opportunity to crawl inside. Transfer to Saigon airport afterwards for your flight to Siem Reap.

Welcome to Siem Reap, the gateway to the ancient temples of Angkor! Siem Reap is Cambodia’s spiritual home, a charming riverside town, and the world’s most significant site of Khmer architecture. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by our local guide who will escort you to your hotel for check-in. Rest of the day is free at your leisure.

Day 15:Siem Reap – Sunrise at Angkor Wat - Angkor Thom

Wake up early in the morning and travel to the Angkor Archaeological Park by tuk tuk. Start this unforgettable adventure by climbing the main entrance of the Angkor Wat and admiring the stunning sunrise over Angkor Wat and all surrounding temples.

We will continue our tour and arrive at the South Gate of Angkor Thom. Step back in time to the grandeur of the prosperous Khmer kingdoms of yore. Angkor Thom comprises of renowned Bayon and Baphoun temples originally made up of 54 towers and 216 faces of Buddhisatva Avalokesvara. During the visit, our tour guide will explain the historical facts of the Angkor Temples and the Khmer empire and highlight all main Angkor architectural elements.

In the afternoon, you will pass by both the Terrace of Elephant and the Terrace of Leper King known as the royal viewing platform and the stage of the king’s great audience hall.

Next, a visit to Ta Prohm Temple known as the “jungle temple” or “tree temple” referring to the lush trees surrounding the temple’s stones. The gigantic roots of the trees embracing the ruins have made it one the Angkor’s most popular temples.

Day 16:Siem Reap - Tonle Sap Lake – Departure.

Leaving Siem Reap we travel through the countryside to Tonle Sap Lake. The Tonle Sap one of the world’s most productive bodies of fresh water. Take a boat trip around the lake to see floating villages and get a taste for life ruled by monsoonal rains and water-based agriculture. Afterwards, take the back roads back to Siem Reap and witness seasonal agricultural activities like cricket catching, rice planting and harvesting, smoking fish, fish paste (prohoc making), and duck farming. Transfer directly to Siem Reap airport for your departure flight
