Detailed Itinerary:

Day 01:Bangkok Arrival – City Tour

Sawadee – Welcome to Thailand! Upon arrival. Pick-up by our guide and transfer to the city center and start your city tour with a visit to Jim Thompson House. Learn about his extraordinary life and the famous silk products of Thailand. Next, continue your day with Golden Buddha at Wat Traimit, followed by China Town. Later that day, check-in at your hotel and enjoy your time at leisure.

Day 02:Bangkok – Temples hopping

Your guide will pick you up and take you to a Harbor on Chao Phraya River to embark on a boat and explore the traditional Thai klongs (canals). Then, visit Wat Arun which is known as Temple of Dawn one of the most well-known sites in Bangkok. It is best seen from the opposite side of the river.

After visiting this Wat, you head to the Grand Palace which is the official of the King of Siam since 1782, made up of numerous buildings, halls, and pavilions set around open lawns, gardens and courtyards. It is located on the bank of The Chao Phraya River. Inside the Grand Palace complex is Wat Phra Kaeo or Temple of the Emerald Buddha the most beautiful and sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand.

The following visit is Wat Pho the temple of reclining Buddha. The temple has a long list of credits: The oldest and largest temple in Bangkok, the longest reclining Buddha and the largest collection of Buddha images in Thailand, the first public education institution.

Next, drive to Pak Klong Talaat Flower market to see Thailand’s exotic flora with many species of orchids. Back to your hotel.

Day 03:Bangkok - Fly to Chiang Rai - White Temple

This morning, pick-up at your hotel by our driver. He will take you to Bangkok airport for your flight to Chiang Rai. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for check-in your hotel and take a break. On the way, you will stop by Wat Rong Khun (White Temple) and the local market.

Day 04:Chiang Rai - Golden Triangle

After breakfast, depart from Chiang Rai to Mae Sai, the northern-most point of Thailand on the Thai – Burmese border. In the border town of Mae Sai visit a Jade Cutting Factory and the colorful market, where handicrafts and souvenirs are on sale. The next stop will be made at the Fish and Monkey Cave. Afterwards depart for Doi Tung and visit the Royal Villa and the Mae Fah Luang Garden, the Mae Fah Luang Arboretum at Chang Mub and some ethnic hill-tribe communities nearby.

Then continue your trip to the Golden Triangle, where the Ruak River and the Mekong River meets forming the border of three countries, and Hall of Opium Museum. Thereafter, you will return to town by sunset.

Day 05:Chiang Rai - Chiang Mai - Wat Doi Suthep

After having breakfast and check out your hotel, take the drive to Chiang Mai – “New City”. On the way, you will stop at Hot Spring, try “boiled eggs” and fish massage (option) or foot soak. Upon arrival, set out on a guided tour to visit Wat Phrathad Doi Suthep – 3,500 feet above sea- level, the most sacred temple in Northern Thailand, containing a holy relic of Lord Buddha. You will have a panoramic view of the city from this height. Rest of the day, enjoy on your own the atmosphere at one of the most famous market in Thailand – Chiang Mai Night Bazaar.

Day 06:Chiang Mai - Elephant Jungle Sanctuary (join-in group)

Pick up from your hotel by shuttle bus and drive approximately 1.5 hours South of Chiang Mai through rolling hills, forest, and local farming areas.

Arrive at the Sanctuary. Meet your guide and walk for 10-15 minutes through the Jungle to the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary. Change into traditional Karen clothing. Enjoy an introductory lesson about elephant anatomy, history, and behavior.

Meet the elephants. Feed, interact, and play with the elephants in a natural environment as you learn about their behavior and history.

Enjoy a lunch of traditional Thai food and fresh fruit. Then learn how to make herbal medicine balls, feed the Elephants and then walk with the elephants to the river. Bathe and brush the elephants. Join the elephants for a therapeutic mud spa. Swim in the river and take photos with the elephants. Change clothes and say good bye to the elephants. Leave the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary and drive approximately 1.5 hours to Chiang Mai.

Day 07:Chiang Mai – Departure

This morning enjoy your time at leisure until check-out. Our driver will then take you to Chiang Mai airport for your departure flight to the next destinations.
