Detailed Itinerary:

Here is how the four days unfold, from your first taste of authentic Thai cooking to a last lazy morning before your flight. Every part of it can be adjusted: add a night where you want to linger, swap an activity or change your hotel class, and we will shape the plan around you.

Day 01:Bangkok Arrival – First Tastes

Welcome to Bangkok, a city that never stops cooking, and the start of a trip built around its food.

Arrival

Your guide meets you at the airport and takes you to your hotel, helping you check in, with time to settle in and rest after the flight.

Evening

Your first meal sets the bar high: dinner at one of Bangkok’s most acclaimed Thai restaurants, where long-forgotten recipes are cooked with care and bold, balanced flavours, a perfect introduction to authentic Thai cuisine.

Good to know: the restaurant must be reserved well in advance. If it is fully booked, we will arrange an alternative of a similar standard.

Meals: Dinner. Accommodation: Hotel in Bangkok.

Day 02:Bangkok – Eat and See

A day of street food, river life and the great temples of old Bangkok, with a luxurious dinner to finish.

Morning

Skip the hotel breakfast and eat like a local instead. Stroll through narrow lanes, squeeze into an old coffee shop for a glass of kafae boran, a sweet, old-style Thai coffee, then nibble on khanom thua paep, a soft mung-bean rice crepe. A few steps away, a stall serves steaming plates of kuichai, dumplings stuffed with chives and other fresh greens.

Late morning

Board a boat on the Chao Phraya River and slip into the klongs, the old canals lined with wooden houses. Admire Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, best seen from across the water with its porcelain-studded tower rising from the bank, then visit Pak Khlong Talat, the flower market, piled high with orchids, marigolds and jasmine.

Midday

Lunch is at a riverside restaurant overlooking the busy Chao Phraya.

Afternoon

Visit the Grand Palace, home of the kings of Siam since 1782, a dazzling complex of halls, pavilions, lawns and courtyards on the bank of the river. Within its walls stands Wat Phra Kaew, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and the most sacred temple in Thailand. Continue to Wat Pho, home of the giant gold-covered Reclining Buddha.

Evening

End the day in style at a contemporary restaurant known for its modern take on Thai cuisine, before being driven back to your hotel.

Good to know: the Grand Palace has a dress code: shoulders and knees must be covered.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Accommodation: Hotel in Bangkok.

Day 03:Bangkok – Cooking Class – Evening in Style

Learn the secrets of Thai cooking by day, then a dinner you will talk about for years.

Morning

Head to a cooking school set in a charming riverside home. Begin with a walk around its herb garden to learn about the aromatic herbs at the heart of Thai cooking, then your instructor shows you the key techniques of the Thai kitchen. Get hands-on as you cook your own dishes, then sit down to enjoy them for lunch.

Afternoon

The afternoon is yours at leisure. Browse one of Bangkok’s busy markets for souvenirs, or ask your guide for ideas close to your hotel.

Evening

Tonight is one of the highlights of the trip: dinner at Gaggan Anand, whose progressive Indian tasting menu reinterprets the street food and regional dishes of South Asia with playful, imaginative technique, each plate a small work of art. Afterwards, you are driven to a vintage Shanghai-style bar for live music and cocktails, a stylish end to the day.

Good to know: the restaurant must be reserved well in advance, and if it is fully booked we will arrange an alternative. Drinks at the bar are at your own expense.
